Novitàv1.29.27

Disponibile solo in inglese

Priest pulls wait for you; Warlock DoTs fit the fight from the first second.

Selecting a target no longer starts a Priest pull, and Warlock DoTs are skipped on mobs that usually die too fast for them.

Version 1.29.27 brings the Warlock pull rule of 1.29.22 to the Priest and makes the Warlock DoT gates useful at the start of a fight.

Fixed — Priest pulled as soon as a target was selected

  • BASE is the decision to pull. Out of combat, selecting a hostile target now shows PULL READY / PRESS BASE with no spell, so nothing is cast and an external pixel reader has nothing to press.
  • Pressing BASE starts the pull. BASE casts as before (wand, or Smite / Mind Flay without a wand) and the opener (Holy Fire, Mind Blast, Smite or Shadow Word: Pain) then follows on that target.
  • Every pull needs its own press. Switching to another target before the pull needs a new BASE press, and entering combat clears it, so the next mob waits for BASE again.

Example: a level 8 Priest tabs to a Defias Bandit. Before, Smite went out at once and the pull started. Now the panel waits with PULL READY until BASE is pressed.

Improved — Warlock DoTs at the start of a fight

  • The time-to-kill estimate needs a few seconds of damage, so at the start of a fight the DoT gates (Corruption 8 s, Curse of Agony 18 s, Immolate 11 s) always let the DoT through, even on mobs that die in a few seconds.
  • Until that estimate is ready, the gates now use how long this character usually takes to kill the same mob alone: the median of the latest solo kills (at least 3, up to 7) with mob and player level within one, scaled by the target's current health. The reason text shows TTK ~Ns hist when this is used.
  • No history for that mob means no change: the DoT is offered as before.

Upgrade and safety

  • No reset required. Settings, saved positions, slot order, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved.
  • The Diagnostic Pixel is unchanged, so external pixel readers keep working as before.
  • Protected actions still require your click or key press.

Validation and limitations

  • 57 Lua files, 48 Lua regression suites (144 Warlock and 125 Priest checks, including the new pull gate and historical kill time checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
  • Checked in game before release: 60 Priest fights at level 8-9 started with PULL READY or after the mob engaged, with no death; the Warlock change was checked in game by the author.
  • The kill-time history reads only the current character's saved combat history; a new character starts with the old behavior.

Compatibility Target

  • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509
  • All nine supported classes
  • No additional addon or external program required
  • Learner revision 4, adaptive schema 2, telemetry contract 1, fight schema 14

Release precedenti

  1. v1.29.26

One cast per DoT — now for Corruption and Immolate too.

Cast-time DoTs are no longer cast twice in a row.

Version 1.29.26 completes the double-DoT fix of 1.29.25. That release covered the moment after a cast succeeds, but low-rank Corruption and Immolate have a 2-second cast: the cast bar ends a moment before the success is confirmed. In that short gap the Advisor saw neither a cast in progress nor the debuff and showed the same DoT again, so a key press (or an external pixel reader that keeps pressing the shown slot) cast it a second time.

Fixed — Cast-time DoTs cast twice

    • The window opens when the cast starts. As soon as you start casting a DoT, it counts as applied on that target for the cast time plus 1.5 seconds. When the real debuff appears, its actual timer takes over.
    • Failed casts are offered again. If the cast is interrupted or fails, the DoT is recommended again right away. An extra key press rejected during the cast does not count as a failure.
    • Resists and target switches behave as in 1.29.25. A resisted DoT is offered again when the window ends; a new target still gets its own DoTs at once.
    • Covers every cast-time debuff, including Corruption and Immolate at low rank and Polymorph. Instant debuffs keep the 1.29.25 behavior.

Example: a level 7 Warlock casts Corruption (2-second cast). Before, Corruption came back on screen right as the cast bar finished and a second Corruption went out on a target that already had it. Now the Advisor moves straight to the next spell.

    • 57 Lua files, 48 Lua regression suites (including 6 new cast-start window checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
    • The fix is based on Warlock combat logs from 1.29.25, where Corruption was cast twice in 14 of 43 fights and Immolate in 6 of 11. Checked in game on 2026-10-31 with a level 11-12 Warlock: Corruption was applied in 58 of 60 fights, and a cast-time DoT came back at the end of its own cast in 3 of 129 casts (all with 2-4 enemies, likely a target switch), against 15 of 68 on 1.29.25. In single-enemy fights a DoT was cast twice only after a resist.

    • All nine supported classes

  2. v1.29.25

One cast per DoT — no more doubled Corruption or Agony.

DoTs and debuffs are no longer recommended twice right after a successful cast.

Version 1.29.25 fixes a timing gap that hit every class with DoTs or target debuffs. When a spell succeeds, its debuff reaches your client a moment later. In that short gap the Advisor still saw the target without the debuff and showed the same spell again, so a key press (or an external pixel reader that keeps pressing the shown slot) cast it twice.

Fixed — Double DoT and debuff casts

    • The cast counts right away. After a successful cast, the debuff is treated as applied for 1.5 seconds on the target you cast it on. As soon as the real debuff appears, its actual timer takes over.
    • Resists are still handled. If the spell is resisted and no debuff appears, it is recommended again when the window ends.
    • Target switches are safe. The window belongs to the target you cast on: a new target still gets its own DoTs at once.
    • Classes covered: Warlock (Corruption, Curse of Agony, Immolate, Curse of Weakness, Fear), Priest (Shadow Word: Pain, Holy Fire), Shaman (Flame Shock), Druid (Moonfire, Rip, Rake, Faerie Fire (Feral), Entangling Roots), Hunter (Hunter's Mark, Concussive Shot, Wing Clip), Mage (Polymorph), Rogue (Garrote) and Warrior (Rend, Hamstring).

Example: a Warlock casts Curse of Agony. Before, the Advisor could show Curse of Agony again for a fraction of a second and a second cast went out with 20+ seconds still left on the first. Now the Advisor moves straight to the next spell.

    • 57 Lua files, 48 Lua regression suites (including 9 new target-debuff cast-window checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
    • This fix has not yet been checked in game.

  3. v1.29.24

A cleaner HUD, and the next spell you can't miss — checked in game.

New flat dark look, and the recommended Action Panel slot now really stands out.

Version 1.29.24 brings the HUD restyle, now checked in game. Nothing moves: icons sit on flat, dark slots with a thin frame in the state color, and the spell the Advisor wants is unmistakable on the Action Panel: it glows, pulses and grows slightly while the other slots step back. The code is the same as 1.29.23, published again with its in-game check.

    Improved — Action Panel highlight

    • Ring, glow and a bigger icon. The recommended slot gets a gold ring and a smooth pulsing glow, with a brighter flash when the recommendation changes. Its icon grows slightly over its own frame, never into the next slot.
    • Focus. While a slot is recommended, the other slots dim so your eye goes straight to the right one.
    • Keys on the icons. Every learned slot prints its binding in short form, as on Blizzard action bars: S4 for SHIFT-4, CS1 for CTRL-SHIFT-1, M4 for mouse button 4. The recommended key turns gold.

    Improved — Flat dark theme

    • Cropped icons on flat slots for BASE, the Advisor, the Action Panel and the Survival Strip, with a thin frame that takes the state color (range, cooldown, usable, recommended).
    • Advisor accent. A thin stripe on the left edge and the icon frame follow the badge color: red for danger, amber for caution, blue or green for normal states. The glow now surrounds the icon only.
    • Panels keep a neutral 1px frame; caution and danger still color it.

Example: in a fight the Advisor switches to Shadow Bolt: slot 04 flashes, its gold ring pulses, S4 turns gold on the icon and the other slots dim. Press SHIFT-4 or click it.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Layout, sizes, saved positions, slot order, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved.
    • The Diagnostic Pixel is unchanged, so external pixel readers keep working as before.
    • Protected actions still require your click or key press.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 48 Lua regression suites (including 31 Action Panel highlight checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
    • The new look has been checked in game.
    • The 1.29.21 and 1.29.22 Warlock changes (single-press BASE, leveling, pull started by BASE) have also been checked in game.

    Compatibility Target

    • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509

  4. v1.29.23

A cleaner HUD, and the next spell you can't miss.

New flat dark look, and the recommended Action Panel slot now really stands out.

Version 1.29.23 restyles the HUD without moving anything. Icons sit on flat, dark slots with a thin frame in the state color, and the spell the Advisor wants is unmistakable on the Action Panel: it glows, pulses and grows slightly while the other slots step back.

    Improved — Action Panel highlight

    • Ring, glow and a bigger icon. The recommended slot gets a gold ring and a smooth pulsing glow, with a brighter flash when the recommendation changes. Its icon grows slightly over its own frame, never into the next slot.

    • Keys on the icons. Every learned slot prints its binding in short form, as on Blizzard action bars: S4 for SHIFT-4, CS1 for CTRL-SHIFT-1, M4 for mouse button 4. The recommended key turns gold.

  5. v1.29.22

You decide the pull: BASE sends the pet and starts the rotation.

Warlock: selecting a target no longer pulls, and BASE sends your pet in at once.

Version 1.29.22 fixes how a Warlock pull starts. In 1.29.21 the Advisor suggested the Shadow Bolt opener as soon as you selected a hostile target, so anything pressing the suggested slot started the fight, while BASE did not send the pet until combat had begun. Now the pull is your decision: press BASE and the pet charges in immediately, then the Advisor opens the rotation.

Fixed — Warlock pull starts with BASE

    • Targeting is safe. Selecting a hostile mob out of combat shows PULL READY / PRESS BASE with no spell, with or without a wand. No opener slot lights up and the Diagnostic Pixel stays black until you press BASE. Life Tap before the pull is still suggested, since it does not pull.
    • BASE sends the pet at once. Like the Hunter, Warlock BASE now commands the pet in or out of combat (and starts the wand when one is equipped). No second press is needed after the first cast.
    • Then the rotation starts. After a BASE press on that target, or with the pet already attacking it, the Advisor suggests the Shadow Bolt opener (Corruption on low mana) and continues with the normal in-combat priorities.
    • One press per pull. Entering combat clears the mark, so the next mob again waits for BASE.

Example: select a mob: the HUD shows PULL READY. Press BASE: your Voidwalker runs in and Shadow Bolt lights up on its slot. After the kill, select the next mob: nothing happens until you press BASE again.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Settings, action slots, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved.
    • Pressing BASE on a target out of range now sends the pet anyway: only press it when you mean to pull.
    • Protected actions still require your click or key press.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 47 Lua regression suites (including 128 Warlock checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
    • These are simulated-client tests. The new pull behavior, like the 1.29.21 Warlock changes, has not yet been checked in game.

    Compatibility Target

    • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509

  6. v1.29.21

Press once, let the pet and the Advisor work.

Warlock BASE is now a single press, and Warlock leveling gets smarter pet, Soul Shard and casting decisions.

Version 1.29.21 stops asking Warlocks to spam BASE. BASE starts your wand and sends your pet; every spell, Shadow Bolt included, comes from the Advisor on its own slot. The Advisor also keeps you casting while your pet holds the mob, farms Soul Shards with Drain Soul and keeps your Voidwalker alive with Health Funnel.

    Improved — Warlock single-press BASE

    • No more Shadow Bolt spam. With a wand, BASE sends the pet (in combat) and starts the wand in every talent tree, Destruction included. Without a wand, BASE only sends the pet. Shadow Bolt and every other spell are suggested by the Advisor on their fixed slots, so extra BASE presses can no longer cast at the wrong moment.
    • Pet idle? Press once. When your pet is not attacking your target for more than a second in a single-mob fight, the amber PET NOT ATTACKING / PRESS <your BASE key> ONCE notice appears. It stays quiet in multi-mob fights, where the pet may be tanking another mob on purpose.
    • Clear waits without a wand. In combat the Advisor shows LET DOTS AND PET WORK when nothing is worth casting; before a pull without mana for an opener it shows NO OPENER READY. Neither asks for BASE.

    Improved — Warlock leveling

    • Keep casting next to your pet. Within about 10 yards of a mob your pet is holding, Shadow Bolt, Immolate, wand and Drain Soul stay available. They are skipped only when the mob is on you or not held.
    • Soul Shards. Drain Soul finishes low-health targets until you hold five shards. Shadowburn keeps two shards in reserve unless the fight is dangerous.
    • Health Funnel. A tanking pet at 40% health or less gets Health Funnel while your own health can pay for it. Health Funnel is the new Warlock slot 16.
    • Openers and fillers. Before a pull the Advisor suggests a Shadow Bolt opener (Corruption on low mana, Life Tap first when mana is low and health high). Without a wand Shadow Bolt remains available on lower mana and on low-health targets.
    • Spell Lock is no longer suggested while it is on cooldown.
    • Before the pull, a missing pet points at Summon Voidwalker (Summon Imp without Soul Shards) and a hurt pet at Health Funnel.

Example: select a mob and cast the suggested Shadow Bolt. As it lands, the amber notice asks you to press BASE once: the pet charges in and the wand starts. Follow the highlighted DoTs; near the end the Advisor switches to Drain Soul for a shard.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Settings, existing action slots, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved. Warlocks gain slot 16 at the end of their layout.
    • Without a wand, cast Shadow Bolt from its slot (04) when suggested: BASE no longer casts it.
    • Protected actions still require your click or key press.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 47 Lua regression suites (including 101 new Warlock checks) and 58 TOC references pass.
    • These are simulated-client tests. The new Warlock behavior has not yet been checked in game for this release.

    Compatibility Target

    • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509
    • All nine supported classes

  7. v1.29.20

    Press once, let it run.

Warrior BASE is now a single press, and Hunters get pet, aspect and travel guidance between and during pulls.

Version 1.29.20 stops asking Warriors to spam BASE. One press pulls with Charge and starts auto-attack; the Advisor asks for another press only when the client reports that your attack has stopped. Hunters get advice for the moments that usually go wrong: a dead or passive pet, the wrong aspect at pull time, a pet on the wrong target and a mob running for help.

    Improved — Warrior single-press BASE

    • No more BASE spam. Warrior BASE starts attacking (and Charges out of combat); further presses do nothing, and every melee ability the Advisor suggests starts attacking by itself. With nothing to cast, the HUD shows AUTO ATTACK / LET IT RUN. Pulls ask for one press.
    • Attack stopped? Press once. When the client reports auto-attack off against a target already in combat and within Heroic Strike reach, and no strike is affordable, the large amber ATTACK STOPPED / PRESS <your BASE key> ONCE notice appears with its alert sound, as for Rogues. Unknown attack state or reach never triggers it, and an affordable strike always comes first.
    • Clearer waits. A known out-of-reach target shows OUT OF MELEE RANGE / ADJUST DISTANCE, no target shows SELECT TARGET, and Execute pooling shows POOL FOR EXECUTE / LET IT RUN. Risk warnings still color these states.
    • Rend moves to the Advisor. BASE no longer hides a Rend cast sequence, which only fired on a second press in combat. The Advisor suggests the opener Rend on its own slot when the target lives long enough for its ticks, using the damage-per-Rage comparison when it applies. The option is now called Smart opener Rend; turning it off removes the suggestion.

Example: select a mob and press BASE once: Charge, auto-attack, Rage starts flowing. Follow the highlighted Rend and Heroic Strike. After the kill, tab to the next mob with 5 Rage: the amber notice asks you to press BASE once.

New — Hunter pet, aspect and travel guidance

    • Between pulls: Revive Pet when your pet died (even after its body disappears), Call Pet when it is dismissed, Mend Pet below 70% health, and a warning when the pet is still passive after Feign Death.
    • Before the pull: Aspect of the Hawk (Monkey before Hawk is learned) while you choose your target, so the switch does not cost a global cooldown in combat.
    • In combat: a warning when your pet is not attacking your target (BASE sends it in), Concussive Shot or a keep-distance warning when the pet dies, and Concussive Shot then Arcane Shot when the target runs away in fear.
    • Cheetah travel reminder: after eight seconds on foot outdoors with no hostile target, a low-priority reminder suggests Aspect of the Cheetah. It is never cast for you, and selecting a hostile target switches the advice to Hawk. Toggle it in Options → Hunter - Travel.

Example: your pet dies and you Feign Death out of the fight. Once you stand up, the Advisor asks for Revive Pet, then Mend Pet, and reminds you to set the pet back to defensive before the next pull.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Settings, action slots, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved. The Rend option keeps its saved value under its new name.
    • Revive Pet and Call Pet have no Action Panel slot (the Hunter layout already uses all 20); cast them from your action bar when suggested.
    • Protected actions still require your click or key press. Useful commands: /hcob plan, /hcob rendspam on|off.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 46 Lua regression suites (including 50 new Warrior single-press checks and 41 new Hunter pet/travel checks), 58 TOC references and 20 offline release-tool tests pass.
    • These are simulated-client tests. The new Warrior and Hunter behaviors have not yet been checked in game for this release.
    • Fleeing detection uses the English emote text; on other client languages any emote from the target at 35% health or less counts as fleeing.

    Compatibility Target

    • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509
    • All nine supported classes
    • No additional addon or external program required
    • Learner revision 4, adaptive schema 2, telemetry contract 1, fight schema 14

  8. v1.29.19

    Find HCOneButton at a glance.

The AddOns list now shows the HCOneButton icon instead of a question mark.

Version 1.29.19 gives HCOneButton its own icon in the AddOns list at character selection: the red "1" medallion from the project logo.

    New — AddOns list icon

    • The add-on declares its icon in the TOC, so the AddOns list shows the HCOneButton medallion next to its name.
    • The icon is packaged with the add-on; no extra download is needed.

Example: open AddOns at character selection and HCOneButton is easy to spot by its red "1" medallion.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Settings, action slots, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved.
    • Gameplay is unchanged: the Advisor, BASE, the Action Panel and every class policy behave as in 1.29.18, including the Hunter Auto Shot range fix.
    • After updating, restart the game client: the AddOns list reads the icon at startup.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 44 Lua regression suites, 58 TOC references and 20 offline release-tool tests pass; the addon package contains 63 files.
    • The TOC manifest regression checks the icon file (64x64, 32-bit TGA) and the release tooling refuses to build a package without it.

  9. v1.29.18

Keep shooting while you are in range.

Hunters no longer get pushed into melee while the target is still within Auto Shot range.

Version 1.29.18 fixes a regression introduced in 1.29.16. During some fights, the Advisor could switch to melee suggestions even though the target was still in shooting range, and Auto Shot could not be resumed from the Advisor.

Fixed — Auto Shot at range

    • When Auto Shot, or a ranged shot used to check range, reports the target in range, the Advisor now treats it as a ranged target. A melee-range report from Raptor Strike or Wing Clip can no longer override it.
    • ENABLE MELEE and Raptor Strike are no longer suggested while you can shoot, and RESUME AUTO SHOT appears again when ranged fire has stopped.
    • Melee guidance still applies in the dead zone and in actual melee. Range reports from Raptor Strike or Wing Clip still take precedence over older combat-log hits.

Example: a mob hits you, you step back to shooting range and stop. The Advisor asks you to press BASE once to resume Auto Shot instead of asking you to enable melee.

    Upgrade and safety

    • No reset required. Settings, action slots, permanent bindings, combat history and learned adjustments are preserved.
    • BASE remains a single start/recovery press, not a key to spam. Each action still requires your click/key press.
    • Other class policies, including the Rogue opener fix in 1.29.17, remain unchanged.

    Validation and limitations

    • 57 Lua files, 44 Lua regression suites, 58 TOC references and 19 offline release-tool tests pass; the addon package contains 62 files.
    • 62 Hunter checks, including 4 new checks, cover the priority of ranged over melee range checks, Auto Shot recovery and the transition back to melee in the dead zone.
    • The fix was confirmed in game: Auto Shot resumes at shooting range and the Advisor no longer requests melee there. The automated checks use simulated client range results, and range reporting can vary by target size.

    Compatibility Target

    • World of Warcraft Classic Era / Hardcore — Interface 11509
    • All nine supported classes; this release focuses on Hunter ranged combat
    • No additional addon or external program required
    • Learner revision 4, adaptive schema 2, telemetry contract 1, fight schema 14
